In just over two months since launching, we have 1050 registered users, we would like to thank everyone for their support and hope you all enjoy the site. We are currently looking at alternative cameras to upgrade the Euxton site, after a bit of careful research, we now believe we can vastly improve the colour during the daytime, additionally we are looking at cameras that can be steered to enhance the viewing experience, this will also allow the current Euxton cam to be moved to one of the new sites we have lined up. As you know, railcam is a free venture, we provide the streams free of charge but cannot upgrade the camera without your help. If you havent already done so, dont forget to enter our photo of the month competition, the theme is 'Trains in the Landscape' and Adrian has kindly donated a choice of DVD's for the winner, details of which can be found in the forum .

We have recently added a live feed from the West Somerset Railway at Bishops Lydiard where heritage steam and diesal can be seen throughout the day, this weekend, the WSR have their steam gala, why not log in to watch.

The watch screens now have a series of thumbnail images underneath the three live views which show the eight most recent trains to pass Euxton which are automatically captured using our new software, all of the most recent images will shortly be available in a gallery.

The site membership is now approaching 800 strong allready, thanks to all our regulars and new members who help to make the site a success, we are activeley looking at new locations to site cams and hope to be able to make an announcement very shortly.

The Potm competition ends in less than a week, dont forget to submit your entries in accordance with the rules outlined in the forum.

Our cam on the ECML at Cramlington will be unavailable for one week from tonight, but dont fret, it will be back.
